A Tudor style peasants house, with great attention to detail, handcrafted in the UK

Cooking was done on the open hearth located in the middle of the floor and the smoke from the fire went through the whole house. The door had to be opened when cooking and everybody had to sit on the ground in order not to be choked. In later times a fireplace was created which helped with the dispersal of the smoke. The peasant cottage is a versatile first purchase which can be accessorized to change through the ages.
